.. Die O17: Head facing left (type 1) Connected to R13 About the following specimen, Mr. Goldberg wrote in 2001: "This coin apparently still unpublished with Persian king's head left. Also, on the normal coins of this type that are illustrated in Meshorer, the various forms of the inscription, "Yehud," are within very close proximity to, or even touching, the falcon's wings. On this coin there is sufficient field around the bird, and yet no lettering can be discerned. Perhaps another variety, i.e., uninscribed?"
. Die O18: Head facing left (type 2) Connected to R17
. Die O19 Connected to R4
.. Note that the obverse of the coin above ressembles to the obverse of the coin at left, classified in the H438 section. However, I am not sure they are the same obverse die.
. .. The obverse of the following specimens is too poor or too of centered to be classified:
.
2. Reverse dies .... Die R1: The falcon's head turns to right. The beak is linked to the top of the right wing. Retrograde inscription turning outward Connected to O4
Connected to O1
Connected to O7
Connected to unidentified dies:
.. Die R2: The falcon's head turns to left. The falcon is crossed on its left side by a die break Connected to O1
Connected to O7
Connected to O12
Connected to an unidentifiable die:
. Die R3: The falcon's head turns to right.
As shown on the left picture, this reverse die is the same as H427 - R1! (go to the H427 page and scroll down to "Die R1" to see all the other specimens). Note that if the coins struck by H429-R3 (hereafter) are showing an almost immaculate die on obverse, their reverse side is much more corrupted. It could be explained as follow: The reverse die with falcon were firstly used to strike H427. Then later, this die which begun to be worn, has been re-used in association with the "head of king" obverse die for striking a part of the H429 coinage. . Connected to O2
.. Die R4: The falcon's head turns to right. Retrograde inscription in four letters Connected to O6
Connected to O13
Connected to O19
Connected to unidentifiable dies:
... Die R5: The falcon's head turns to right. The wings are about symmetrical. Connected to O3
. Die R6: The falcon's head turns to right. Connected to O5
...... Die R7: The falcon's head turns to right Connected to O8
. Die R8: The falcon's head turns to left Connected to O5
... Die R9: The falcon's head turns to left Connected to O1
... Die R10: The falcon's head turns to left. This die is entirely crossed by a break Connected to O8
... Die R11: The falcon's head turns to right. Probably a barbarous issue. The inscription is retrograde and going inward, the right wing is angular and not realistic. Connected to O1
. Die R12: The falcon's head turns to right. Connected to O1
. Die R13: The falcon's head turns to right. Apparently no inscription - 1 - (?). The wings are a bit angular. Connected to O17 About the following specimen, Mr. Perhaps another variety, i.e., uninscribed?"
. Die R14: The falcon's head seems to turn right, but not sure. If it is the case, it is the single die showing the inscription to the right. Connected to O8
. Die R15: The falcon's head turns to left. Retrograde inscription type I Connected to O9
.. Die R16: The falcon's head turns to left. Retrograde inscription type II Connected to O5
. Die R17: The falcon's head turns to left. Apparently no inscription - 2 - Connected to O18
. Die R18: The falcon's head turns to left.
. Die R19: Inscription to left, turning outward Connected to O10
. Die R20: Falcon with very short breast Connected to:
